It's pretty shameful, but I'm willing to bet 50 bucks that cage is fake. Sadly a lot of people put "show" cages on their cars in Germany.

I found out first-hand when I rode in a car with one. Going for a ride in the mountains, I went to hold the cage as the "oh sh*t" handle and the owner asked to hold elsewhere.

He wasnt kidding. Tin foil would be a better material to make these "show" cages.

Nope, closest that it came was Canada. And no, bringing it into the states is not easy.

There's about 10-15 of them in the US that actually went through federalization. Sadly, everyone that owns one marks up the value beyond all hell.

A shell alone (no motor) sold for $6k.

I've been trying to find an affordable one for about 4 years now.

I plan on rocking those same Eurostop wheels on my Stylus. They also have some awesome BBS RS mesh look alike wheels, but they are 16x7.5 +21, which is too weak for me.
