no HORSE POOOWER!!!!!!

has any ever had this problem?
I have a 90 ka24e and when I'm driving and try to step on the gas the car boggs a little but it doesn't feel like its pullen, damn I know the ka24e has little power but fuk this feel like shit man a get beat by kia's HELP ANY ONE!!
I check the codes on ECU and give me 55 that its no problem...

actually single cams are pretty quick.
i would check the whole car.

sheck spark.
TPS
MAF
intake
and fuel pressure.

i had ALL this problems before that lead me to bogging and low response. like shit like u say.

gud luck,

change ur air or fuel filter? Oil? Get rid of that slow ass single and go for a dual cam swap them u could swat those pesky honduhs and especially the extra slow miatas

is this something that just happin or always been, im with everyone else do a tune up and go from there, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, and fuel/air filter

thank u guys for the advise, its has new NGK sparks plus, new fuel filter, new spark plug cables 9mm , new rotor and cap.
its pretty old the fuel pump I'm gonna buy a new one, also put a fuel pressure regulato, I think to get a new distributor maybe, any how thanks!!!LOL

Post up how this turns out, and what you did to rectify it, please. My car is doing the same thing. Thanks, and good luck.

I havent check the time dont know exactly how any recom! will help but like I said before the engine came out of a good 240 and its was running perfect, so the only items used on from the old engine was the intake manifold, when I check the ECU it was telling me the coolan sensor was bad I did the 150 ohm resistor and it helps a little but i get code 55 but still with the problem.

i had the same problem and still drove that bitch ... guess wat it was ... loose spark plug cable ... check all ur ignition u could be missing one hole spark plug firing .. happened to me ... and single cams are not that slow compared to twin ... miami 200sx can tell u how mine was when i had clutch pressure :D

yes the timing its perfect 15deg @ 800rpm.

ok so I put a new coil, fuel pump, check timing, and still bugs out if I'm in 2nd gear and step on in bugs and don't pull like it sholud, next will be a new fuel pressure regul since my f&*$%ing wife lost the one I got from ebay.
I'll post what happen!!!!!!!

wow sounds like you've gotten rocked, i think i had a similar problem and it was that the people prior (133,000 miles) to me never changed the fuel filter. so a low rpms the car would push and pull like it wasnt getting enough fuel and i also had to go to Advanced auto parts and kill the kid that sold me bosch injectors cause he said it would work....

sounds familiar, but the injectors are fine the fuel filter its new, also I check the fuel mixture and its perfect, I dont get any codes some people said fuel pump and put anotherone and its the same, but its getting better..

i would say maf or vacuum lines
my maf came unplugged and it would still idle but as soon as you touch the gas it wants to die
and the vacuum lines if you have one disconnected or in the wrong place it will do the same thing
have you checked all the vacuum lines including the lines that are in between the block and the firewall?
and is your gas good?
how old is it?

yes I fix a bunch of lines that they were crak also order a maf sensor so I have 2 and with any of those it do the same, maybe its my fuel regul i'm getting a new one from ebay lets see what happen!!! thanks for the advise!!!!!
