the celica supra doesnt fit....wtf are you talking about

people have dont it yeah, but the same adapting steps apply to ANY rwd rear end w/ a similar size to the 86's

you still have to cut all the mounts, brackets, spring perch and other things from your stock rear end (club4ag has a diy for supra celica) then you have to weld them to the rear end in the same relative places and after 50hours of welding and hammering and what not you can proceed to bolt it to the 86....but here's what i'd like to know, do we have to modify the sr5 or gts driveshaft??

there's a way to stick a supra tranny into the 86 (bellhousing adaptor online) which would be perfect w/ the rear end, specially if you have a 20v swap...like me :D

i say take out the solid rear axle an put a s13 sub frame in there it not really all that hard if you can read a tape measure and weld.

And in the end the easiest way out, is to get a GTS rear end since this way you get disc brakes in the rear so that defeats the purpose of this topic but it still is the simplest, or weld the diff.

i'll make you a deal, turn it into a GT-S (rear end, and get rid of that engine...ughhh) and I'll give you my GT-S badge set I have laying around, yes? Toyota, Corolla and GT-S

How busted is it, does the diff turn I don't care if it's not LSD open diff is fine. I really want one for the disc brake conversion. too bad you need the whole rear end though. Hit me up do you still have my number from when I sold you the trunk. Later.

Well FAL, I think I will take those GT-S badges off your hands for you. Thanks bro I owe you big time for that. I KNOW! We'll do the RE swap at my garage so we have more than just a bucket of tools... now if I could only find a cherry picker...
