Official: Chelsea to drive Bergenholtz RX8

id say more of a career choice not a job. theres no way of telling that chelsea is better till he drives. just because he killed it in his bmw doesnt mean that he will in the rx8. Bergenholtz over invested a crazy amount of money for a platform that just doesnt perform and thats been proven by jtp and now joon. now they are trying to justify it with by throwing a band-aid on stab wound. ud figured that a light bulb would have gone off in their heads when both joon and jtp where not able to perform in the rx8 but yet in other cars were. hell i cant even think of any particular rx8 ever doing well in fd.

idk even though the decision doesnt affect me at all. i dont agree with it but hopefully i get proven wrong and chelsea does some crazy shit in the rx8.

I'm a bit confused, cause I saw his new build about a week ago while in Orlando, but I'm guessing he either didn't get it done in time or this offer was just too good to pass up. Either way huge congrats to him, he's heading to a great future.
 
Well it would seem logical to me that he kept working on his build in case the RX8 deal fell through. I bet they didn't tell him he got the deal straight out at the test day, they had to have had made a choice after talking it over with the rest of the team a bit. So Chelsea kept on working his ass off not taking the test day for granted.
 
Not just that, but I've known he's been building a new car because my cage guy did his new cage in a rush for him. Maybe they didn't have enough testing time with the new car, but idk. Part of me still thinks the rx8 thing is just to confuse people. lol but then again, maybe one of the cars will be a back up.

He is probably going to use his new bmw chasis as a backup/demo car.
 
All I saw on the newsfeed on the side of that picture was Zack chewing someone out for calling an Rx8 a "Rexy"

bimmer is a backup I'd think.

+1.. it makes a lot of sense. He would have been left with NO ride if he just sat back.

What do you consider well, because Mohan finished top 10 in the points last year in his.
 
That's one thing there though, no one remembers RX8's cause they are all butt ugly cars. Hopefully Chelsea makes it look cool, like some shiny wind spinners on the doors and a pool table on the roof.
 
Bergz is unprofessional, I think its great for Chelsea but this is 2X they have done it. They are in it to win sure, ok i get it, but respect is far more important than winning, is it not?

Meh.

I hope Chelsea does amazing with this and moves on to an even better team.
