All right, with the current MB Battle craze, I would really like to know the main difference between this and the CST Hyper1 Zero.

I already spoke to Shant about this, he says it's the same finish. But supposedly CSTs weigh less. 18inch MB Battles weigh in around 29 lbs, and CST weigh about 21:

Now, CST is not making these wheels anymore, and Discount Tire is not stocking Battles in 17x9.5 +15. All they have available is the 18s, which are probably running out soon, with no intentions of restocking.

Main questions is this:
What are the main differences between the MB Battle and CST Hyper1Zero? Are they coming out of the same mold with different center caps? It looks like the same finish, but as you can see, CSTs weigh less. So what's the deal? Anyone know?

Reason why I ask is because I need a pair of CSTs or Battles in 17x9.5, but since CST is not making these anymore, MB is not gonna have them anymore neither. So I'm probably gonna be stuck buying the 18s. I just want to know the main differences before I make my decision, as these are going to be my daily wheels.

Blah. Just found more info, they're the same chet.

they had this big thread about it on zilvia...basically it came down to they're the same....no one has yet to weigh the battles...but some say the cst's weigh less...but the fact is that the cst's are only stamped with size and offset..and say made in taiwan... where a-tach/mb is supposed to be. The only benefit of cst's now seem to be the 17 inch sizing..since battles are only in 18's. But the hyper zeros have been discontinued anyway..so hold on to em'.

edit..oh..see you read through...yeah same sh!t

^Yah I found that thread on ziliva. I'm gonna have to run 18s all around now. Oh well. I need power :(.

WannaBdrifter:
Those wheels'll look sik with some spacers, to make them sit flush with the fender or barely poking with stretched low-pro tires...
Goodluck.

^ yah i know. Thanks.
If they still had the 17x9.5 +15s that would be perfect, so I guess I'll have to run the 18x9.5+23 with 10mm spacies. Oh well.
