Nice! Im actually building a similar system atm - but ill be running windows... is that the the full or mid case? that shit is HUGE! i spec'd my system with the same case (mid) i7, asus p6t delux mobo, 6gb ram, and an evga gts 250 1gb video card. Hows that setup performing?

nothing bad about the case, its decent.

and yes its the 2.66.
ill be over clocking it to 2.9, and when i get a new heatsink, maybe 3.5+

id like to be there when ur cpu implodes, heatsink with 3.5 OC?!

dont u mean phase change!?

whoever is building this for you, and tells u they can run 3.5 OC and still use active cooling, take them outside and beat them with a stick then tell them " NO!"

not sure about O.C. with the stock fan/heatsink but ive seen 4.0+ with other heatsinks - its not magic

i have seen 4.9 with a shitty heatsink.
its possible.
920 to 3.5+ OC should be easy.

Don't waste your time OC'ing unless you have to though.

im not going to over do it. im fine how it is now, but i think the max im going with the stock heatsink is 2.9
