If I wanted the better paint job, I would want the exotic car specialist painting my car rather then someone who is repairing bumpers in the back of the shop.
I am very DIY oriented, I say do it DIY. Read a book, think about it, get a plan, and do it. This is not going to be a show car or you would be ready to pay the show car price. Educate your self then do the best you can. It is all in the prep work. wet sand wet sand wet sand.
