Paint!!!!

I Just Got A 240, And It Needs Paint Someone Told Me About A 50$ Paint Job Or Something?? Does Anyone Know Where One Is Located..i Live In Coral Springs Fl..im Just Looking For A Cheap Paintjob For Now ...thanks!!!!

they dont do it for you for 50$.. that is just the cost of the materials and then you do everything yourself.. you just buy house paint rustoleum latex paint and sand your car and use paint rollers to paint it

yeah but seriously thatz like the half ass way to do it dont do that.plus if you want to paint your car later you have to strip it all down to the metal cuz that crap wont hold the paint well. ( i own a bodyshop fyi jus incase u think im bullshitting lol) i can hook anyone on the forum up lol but dont expect it to be 50

Its hard to come by a reliable paint shop with reasonable prices. Look around for autobody restoration shops if you want people who know what they are doing. Look at the cars that they paint. I have done frame reconstruction and 2 1\4 panels on a 360 modena track car. The painter is amazing, everything is done with such precision with out a single flaw. If I wanted the better paint job, I would want the exotic car specialist painting my car rather then someone who is repairing bumpers in the back of the shop.

I am very DIY oriented, I say do it DIY. Read a book, think about it, get a plan, and do it. This is not going to be a show car or you would be ready to pay the show car price. Educate your self then do the best you can. It is all in the prep work. wet sand wet sand wet sand.

You dont know that until you see a car actually painted like that. I have a few people who have seen my 318i which was painted in that way. Cost me $100 and it was probably the best thing I've ever done in that car.

If you have better means to paint the car then by all means, but when it comes to cost-effectiveness, that is a great way to go about it. (Granted you dont half ass it, but that's for anything with cars)

i agree 100% on the diy idk bout u but im 17 and simply dont have the funds to be paying labor and shit like that im currently readin up on paintin my own car i tried da $50 paint job but not with tremclad i used duplicolor cans but i dont reccomend it

instead of using tremclad i used rustolium and followed wut the guy says and i havent even wet sanded or buffed yet and that motherfucker shines lol the only thing is you got the get the technique down so you dont get the bubbles, another thing thats good is that you can paint at night and give the second coat in the morning it took me a grand total of 4 hours to paint my car and thats doing two coats sanding and then two more coats so not only is it cost effective you wont have to take the bus for 2 months while the paint shop guy scratches his ass ill probably put pixx up tonight

i got pixx
