PBIR (new moroso) Jan 11...do it!

lmao! when i searched your thread and saw fire all i could think was your wpb incident..

neways, going in the dir of the video

turn 5 at 50sec. driftable, not linkable
turn 6 at 1:05. driftable, linkable through 1manji
into 7-8-9 which you remember.

you can ofcouse do it backwards like the first moroso event.

if you were to lap the track
then turn 10 at 1:59 into 11
and 1 into 2.

events would be very long then unless run groups would be jap style with 30cars on the track at the same time. with all the different levels at our drift events, this would probably be a disaster. Its a lot different watching the vid after actually having been on the track, learn the lines, distances etc.

i can't wait to see my in-car vid, i kiked some major ass all day...and my run group was composed of 2 GT3 RS, a white porsche turbo, ford GT on 325slicks, a couple carreras, a ferrari 430 modena, couple porsche boxters, S, and cayman, S and one other e30. also has to do a lot with the drivers. but in my last session, keepin up with the ferrari 430 for 4 laps was incredible for my ego...up untill he spins out right infront of my front bumper becasue he couln't believe i was there.. watching his rearview mirror, he put a wheel off course in his braking zone, spin in like three different ways and nearly hit the wall. passed the white porsche turbo (he didnt go all out on the straights like the ferrari did though), a black carrera, every boxter and cayman and 944 that i ran up to (meaning that i had to catch up to as well!) and even lapped the e30 ; / i'm signing up in the next group up (solo) next time.

... next darkside event is $225 ($250 for non-members ~ $25 membership) at RRR two days WITH instructor... just like what i did there nov 8 and 9 2008 ; /

but yeah, beats chinn, ER and most other clubs that are near $400/day... how many and much $ takes to get 1.5hr+ of actual track time at a drift events?

iv gotta get some money to run one of these events i stopped by the track on sat and this did look fun, but my welded diff will kill me all day long.

^^ you were there for the instructor day huh...yeah you can't run a welded diff there.. i don't think you'll even pass pre-tech (days before event at an 'approved' shop) with one.
