Ok so my car just got back from z-fever an wow let me say those ppl are a joke they barely did anything they said they were going to an it sat there for a month.
Its runs and drivers barely when i start it up it wont rev it takes alot of messing with the gas pedal to get it to idel up. then it breaks up from 2500 to 3800 rpm then clears up till 5600 and starts breaking up again till redline. it just missing very hard like crackeling. the car has no thermistat the the temp never rises ives gotten it to barely heat up to the first white line and when it did it was fine then it cooled down and start missing again. could this be my problem ?
the car is a 91 with a 96 ka all stock new plugs wires cap rotor they. z-fever just reset the dizzy timing and cam timing so i dont think thats the problem.
Any suggestions?

could need new plugs, wires, injectors, cap..?

my sisters jetta did similar and took plugs, and wires and it cleared up some... then got worse. noticed cap looked bad, replaced, all good now.
 
I was planning on it but they took so long i really dont want my car sitting for any longer with them id rather just say fuck it tke the loss of 880$ an move on. the car has a new cap rotor plugs and wires its all brand new and a new fuel pump. thats why im at such a loss

stand up for yourself man, at least try to get some money back man. thats silly.
 
Take the plugs out and see how they look also I would check it with a timing light to see what they did with that. All the sensors are working right
 
honestly idk who worked on it. and i wanna take it back but i asked all these questions when i picked up the car and they said well drive it bring it up to temp blah blah like they just wanted it gone. im going to call them monday i mean idk what todo im so tired of my car being fucked up and yes i paid 880$ for them to basicly barely get it running a new trans mount pilot bearing bushing two brake line blocks witch one of the lines was broke and they were barely blead an they set the timing. thats about it.
 
That sucks. What problem did you originally bring it there for in the first place? The same problem?

Earlier today I saw a car that supposedly came from there. A 260z that they swapped an rb25 into. The work was pretty rough, and I guess the owner of the car isn't too happy.
 
Its the mas air flow. i tried one out of a buddys car and its fine now.
Whats gets me is if this was a problem why didnt they fix it. i mean i told them get the car in good working order they got it half ass running. all in all i got my car fixed and i will not be doing any more business with z-fever. nore will i recomend anyone to them.
