I lost all clutch pressure and thought.....Damn my slave gave out. I went and got a new slave but this part of the tranny is doing a wiggly thing...

what can this be? or can I replace this, without replacing the tranny?

Thats the clutch fork, it should have play becuase the slave is not holding pressure to it, BUT it shouldnt move like its not attached to something, it would be broken, ussually salve's dont just go out they slowly go out until it totally gone. you can take the clutch fork out by removing the Tranny from the bellhousing. which isnt hard to do, take off driveshaft and remove bellhousing bolts from tranny remove tranny, shouldnt take long at all.

could be more than just your slave... did you check to see if there was fluid in the reservoir before you took it off? doesn't look like fluid leaking around the slave from what i can see in the pic...how about anything leaking from around the master? could be pressure plate maybe. theres also a clip that hold the fork onto the tranny maybe just maybe it popped off (why you might have more than normal play but i doubt it) what made you think it was the slave? all a slave is really is a cylinder with seals usually only thing to go bad is the seals so they leak and cant hold pressure or they can freeze i guess, unlikely IMO.

freak thing but i have had a pedal break on me before the welds snapped off but felt like no pedal pressure when depressed.
hope any of this helps.

In the middle of the clutch fork there is a small indent where a small little ball go into there is a wire that secure's the clutch fork to the ball check that out it might be broken or not attached correctly..

It had fluid...I just had a lot of clutch pressure for like a whole day, and then my slave exploded...(no flames).

it has play...but too much. Its doesnt even come back if you push it foward.

The fork is supposed to have play, you shouldn't be able to push it forward without putting some kind of force on it since the Throw out bearing will be holding it back and you also have pressure from the pressure plate. You should consider taking off the transmission and checking out the clutch assembly, well the pressure plate, check the throw out bearing, and also check to see if the clutch fork is properly installed. The clutch fork may have popped out of place or broken. Of course I'm saying to check all of this if the Clutch master cylinder, and the Clutch slave cylinder are not the culprits...

something similar happened to me on saturday evening on the way to NOPI, in my case it's the clutch fork pivot, that round ball thing the clutch fork pivots off of, mine was all loose and dangly, looked into the dust-boot/cover thing and saw the broken pivot. :ugh: now i have to pull the tranny in the next few days, i just did it 1 1/2 months ago when i put in a new clutch.
