fine, let them not like south florida. who gives a fuck, if anything.... more motivation to do better and show that south florida isn't a bunch of spoiled rich kids who can't slide. you know how many people fucking hate me....hahaha... a lot... and all that does is make me want to drive better, rub it in their faces, and shit on their hoods. if a female can tell you to not cry about people hating south florida...then maybe it should be taken into consideration. people hate orlando. hell, i hate it, and i live here. i'm moving to the spot that is "so hated". maybe, just maybe, we can make sfl known for its drifters, and their skills, not their whiney ass little bitching sessions.

its not that we dislike them and me and jeremy have are reason why...me and jeremy lived with the people of my culture we know how they are and how they act...Me and Jeremy were their to create My culture we were the ones to get the shirts out there to events to sell...

but at least orlando and tampa had people being interviewed and they had credits.WE DIDNT EVEN MAKE THE CREDITS...we had nothing to show but a driver hitting a tree and greg's awesome donut...if there was better communication between the person who had the slide america contacts for south florida. We could of had a better turn out...if it wasnt for jeremy most likey there would of been 4 people sliding for miami and which 2 that bailed earlier...

most of sfl good drivers didnt know about it till it was already said and done

how can we get known if we dont have good coverage of what we do and how it is

not arguing just my feelings on it...take it or leave it no beef intended

MyCulture knows my thoughts on that whole issue through slide america... it's pretty public as well since it was a huge drama discussed on this forum after it happened.

Rea, Miami was f*cked over by Slide America. They promised to come when they were visiting other FL towns and were never able to make it. They came months after with no warning, getting in touch with just a handful of people to organize something quick.

As for MyCulture, I was very dissapointed at how they handled things, but the DVD turnout is hardly their fault. Yes, there was a messed up selection of who gets to go and who does not, but the bottom line is that they came and still shot almost a handful of great drivers, some of which preached about their awsome drifts caught on video (ex. Greg mentioning his double apex countless times before blowing his SR).

Yet none of it emerged on tape. And why not? Editing. Who edited? Exactly.

Some were daring enough to say that MyCulture was hogging the spotlight. But personally, if I am a newcomer to drifting and I was at that recording, sure I'd be sliding like crazy, but I dont want to be the mofo who goes down for crashing my car (let alone continuously grinding my gears)... and I'm sure no one does.

What Slide America did in their editing was f*cked up... and MyCulture has no fault whatsoever. If all of the best drivers were there and got their sickest drifts, we would still have not gotten any more footage that we did. For Greg's accomplishments, all he got was a few donuts. So if we pulled some crazy 10 car tandem, we'd probably still not be recognized.

As for you guys knowing those who are still in MyCulture, I've spoken to Jeremy about it. That's personal and does not belong on this board.

But those are my 2 cents. Now keep this thread civil.

i find no offense to it. and like i said, i do not take sides. i like the my culture kids for my own reasons, and until they dick me over...then i have nothing negative to say, same as to you and jeremy. but there was more people than just the my culture kids that knew about it. it was posted. people pick and choose what they read and what boards they go on, so if you didn't see or hear about..then how can you toss all the blame on them. and wasn't there animosity towards all them prior to andy coming to film? and if so, then wouldn't that kind of show that both sides need to watch what bridges they burn? but if not..then exclude my last statement. i swear i need a shirt that says burn tires not bridges.
if they were good enough people at one point to team up with, live with and call friends...then aren't they still good enough people to accept their flaws and remember why you guys were friends in the first place? aren't we all supposed to be grown adults here? even childhood enemies find it in them to forgive each other, so why can't some "adults" on a damn forum let shit go and see the bigger picture ..see that if you are determined to make a good name for the sfl drifters, and to get sfl in the scene even more...then you need to be able to work together.
make your own video. you and jeremy, and my culture, have the means to make one hell of a documentary if all of you would put shit behind you and put all your talents together you would be able to really help putting florida on the map in the drift "world".

but steve you are right. its not fair that credit wasn't given where credit was due. say something to andy himself. he is a really nice person. i am sure he wouldn't be offended in any sense.

and jermey and erik. i do agree with you that miami should have been notified better. direct emails to the forum mods would have been the best step for them in that. but you can't change what happened. all you can do is make one up on them and show them what its really about.

rea the reasons behind our disagreements are ppl stabbing ppl in the back. it really comes down to if u werent there.. u dont know and never will, if u want me to explain any of it in person i will. but somethings u cant just drop and move on. i try to be civil at events.. cant promise this wont be brought up at moroso in person. but theirs a lot of behind the scenes u just dont know... ppl put on good fronts...

Second I blame the person who called me, they know who they are. When he called he told me they only wanted a small amount of cars and don't tell anyone. Don't bring others. That Aero K and MyCulture was coming and they only wanted a couple more cars. They don't want tons of people. Favoritism is a dirty whore!

I haven't seen the DVD yet. But from what I was told they showed the worst of what happened.

if that was me.. i was only following wishes of ex-friends... shit i didnt have my coupe then, so i shouldnt have been there persay. but i came to help anyone that night and chill, did i want more ppl there. yes, did i want more drivers, u bet ur ass, but i was given limited time and not a lot of info from the main contacts

i called the numbers i had of the ppl whos cars i knew were working.. sorry playas
 
and to touch back on the comment abuot blaming it on the person that called some of the drivers...

think of it like this, you drivers are just as much at blame then if you want to blame that me. I was doing wat was asked of me of callin certain ppl and keeping it hush hush...

u did what was asked of u and kept it hush hush. we both were just doing wat was asked of us from the ever so gracious hosts...
