So im starting my coupe from the ground up when i get back and im starting now to buy the parts i need so when i get home from iraq here in a few months i can hit the ground running with this thing.... before crashing my hatch i had K sport pro coilovers on it and i liked the ride of it but not much to work with when it came down to spring rating and damping, so i want to try something new but now blow all the flow on just the coils. so i was looking at power by MAX stuff and for the price and what they say it looks like the way i want to go, the whole set up they got as far as toe, ruca, and so on... I like all that but when it came down to the coilovers they have i wasnt to sure.... any of you guys using or know anything about there coilovers and other stuff? and if so how well does it work.

Pbm are good never really heard anything bad about them besides there stiff coils
but stance enjuku has them on
sale for 1200 or something like that and they have a nice ride and adjust
pretty low if needed

Pbm arms and stance coils would be
a badass setup that my 2cents

what i had :(

PBM is super legit. There coils are the best for the money by far. Only problem is if it's daily there are known to be kidney killers...being super stiff. I know you can get 6k springs though. Stock are 8-10

shit , i rock 10-8 with no problems, what saves the ride is the quality of the struts and the dampening capabilities of the shocks.

I've been thinking about gettin MAX coils to, they look badass and I've never herd anything bad about them. It's also pretty cool that you dont have to send them out to be rebuilt you can replace the strut yourself :bigthumbu

I haven't owned PBM suspension, but if I had the funds those are the coils I'm getting for the price you can't really complain. The best thing is custom spring rates, you have a RB25 so a 10/8 setup would work and or anything around those lines. As it was posted before there isn't really any negaive feedback on the PBM suspension, especially a company that makes parts that can play with your life like the knuckles, they've been around for awhile and I don't see them going anywhere anytime soon. I say get them.

Mehh.. Ride quality would concern me as far as pbm but you have the option to switch to 8k for front and 6k for rear. Other coils to look at would be Stance, Fortune Auto, Dmax, or maybe kts.

As far as arms, i would recommend spl or battle version over pbm. Im personally going to try out Dmax. Mine should be here in a month though.

Think a guy over here in Tampa is trying to get rid of his s13 pbm coils because he said that were to stiff. Dont know if he sold them yet though.

Yea the coilovers are for track purpose, not really meant to drive around. Yes people try and get 8k/6k so it can be more comfortable, but they are still going to be stiff and or stiffer. Ive seen some 8k/6k coilovers ride stiffer than 10k/8k coilovers.

Back to the PBM suspension. The arms which they make if im not mistake are made to have a some good amount of clearance when you lower your car and to get maximum angle, so its a plus to get there parts if your really stuck on drifting, but not saying that can't be used in any other motorsports, but there parts are really made around the world of drifting.

honesly if your worried about stiffness DO NOT GET THEM. you will bitch and complain. Get stance. just as legit but not as stiff

i own and drive on pbms, bluntly if ur a bitch dnt get them! They are stiff even on softest dampening, but unless ur riding in the rocky mountains there not bad!

But when i say there not bad thats a personal opinion and based on my feeling which will differ form urs!

As far as arms, well Max arms r cheap and built to take hits from sledge hammers!!! by that i mean there just made well and thick!!! The only arms i would look at other brands to buy from is for Front/Rear lower control arms and there might be better rucas out there...
