Even if he isn't building a show car it makes under the hood parts easier to get to. And it's nice having the extra room. Let him worry about how his engine bay looks it's his problem not yours if he wants it to look clean he's gonna make it look clean regardless of what you or I tell him.

Plus all of you guys say it's so hard to turn. which it isn't really. it's only hard to turn if your standing still.

My Z31 doesn't have P/S and the engine alone almost weighs 540 pounds. I'd imagine turning from a stand still on a S13/S14 would be easier since there isn't that much weight up front compared to a Z31.

you are a complete moron. turning the wheels is one thing. turning them quickly enough to use as a consistent drift car is another. P/s racks are not made to run without P/s.

keep your unexperienced comments away from peoples questions about their drift cars. You have no right to steer people in the wrong direction.
 
-You guys are all little girls. I slide the shit out of my car with no PS, a welded diff, and solid rear subframe bushings. Man up. I like sliding the car with no PS. Car dosen't seem so squirrely when you hit switch backs. It seems like the car dosent try to snap back as hard when you throw it the other way and the car dosent try to make any mystery turns when you let go of the wheel.
 
it makes quick corrections and lock to lock turning easier if you keep power steering. if its power your in need of dont compromise ease of steering for a few horsepower, man up and get a real power upgrade like a turbo. and if the car is doing funny things when you have ps its because of the driver's lack of control/skill, not the car.

seriously hahahah this is fucking great. and making corrections without powersteering sucks, it takes too much effort, not to mention, especially with a welded diff, as soon as you start loosening your grip on the steering wheel it wants to snap back and break you arm. keep the ps, it makes such a small difference in power you cant even tell

the only time i ever have a problem with it is when the car is standing still and i turn the wheel. if I'm moving it's easy.

I removed it on my Z31 and the engine bay is so much cleaner and easier to work on.
