i drive with the windows down while im driving since the water doesnt get in while your drive but when i stop at a light i put the windows up lol

in my last 2 hatches I had the blowers in my car but no compressor and no heater hoses either. just turn it to cold and blow the somewhat cool air on it, at first it makes it worse but wait 30 seconds and bye bye fog, plus it is still cool air so it cools you down a bit

how long have you had the lines open. generally if its longer than a month a new accumulator is recommended. neways. just turn the ac to heat and window defrost even if you dont have heat. it will works but you still have some fogging but not too much. heater hoses arent that hard to hook up if u have a small enough hand to reach behind the motor. oh and the vaccuming does help to clean out the a/c lines by removing dirt and moisture, but it also helps to bring the pressure in the low side down to a negative.

i guess s13s are different but when i drive with the windows down i still get wet

and for the people telling me to stop being a bitch and just get wet, its not me getting wet, its how the water gets on my seats and shit and the moisture builds up, and then when i leave the car parked with the windows up, the car smells like ass for the next like two days untill it has time to air out

bill, 150 sounds good for everything you mentioned, im wondering though, is it bad that my AC lines have been sitting there for like 6 months? i stuffed the opening to the one that goes to the compressor with paper towel so its not that exposed, but im sure moisture still gets in there

next time it rains im gonna try using the defrost with different temps and see how that works... im guessing that only works for the front window (duh) and the other windows you just have to deal with?

its not that bad. it just means that things like the evaporator and condenser will have to be checked. i would definitly recommend replacing the accumulator though

um gut your car recover your seats with blue tarp and ride with the windows down dont forget to drill a shitload of holes in the floor the bigger the better that water has to get out some how

x2 on the accumulater. althought while i was building my coupe, i had my accumulater sit in the garage for quite some time and it still worked fine.....

id say bill is ur best way

i work at a shop and done cheap a/c jobs all the time i would reccommend a new dryer as well but it will still work great without it though most people dont relize that.

alright im illiterate when it comes to this stuff, how much would it be to replace the accumulator and dryer on top of that? i dont even know what both of those are lol

ill look em up when i get back from school, but what would be wrong with not replacing the accumulator?

accumulator and the receiver dryer are the same thing. just have bill do it. its a recommended thing to change meaning not mandatory. its up to u if you wanna change it
