...question....

i just swapped in a 96 ka into my coupe but.....where do i refill the tranny fluid? ...yes noob its my first swap and went very well..:bigthumbu
 
if its a manual tranny take the shifter out and pour it through the shifter hole easy as pie! i believe it take 2 1/2 quarts gl :bigthumbu
 
There's a drain plug at the very bottom of the transmission. The normal Fill plug is on the Driver side of the transmission. You need a pump to fill it up that way though, isn't really an easy way to get the bottle in there. Otherwise the shifter method works quite well. With the car level, you are supposed to fill it till it starts to over-flow/pour out of the Fill plug.
 
if it's out of the car fill it through the plug that has a 1/2 inch square inlaid into the bolt. use a 1/2 inch drive ratchet with no socket on it to tighten and loosen. fill til it starts coming out the hole.

if it's in the car, do it through the shifter. but make sure you measure how much you put in and put it to factory specs.
