rb-with -ka tranny???? ( searched and confused )

ive been reading up and there is mass confusion when it comes to the KA and rb tranny, some say that you can actually use the ka bellhousing some say you cant. some say that you'll need a custom drive shaft is you use the ka gearbox with the rb bellhousing... does anyone have real hands on experience that can answer this grueling question?
true or false??? ka bellhousing will bolt up to the rb20 but 2 bolts wont line up, but will work properly?
 
yeah ive read that thread but im mostly concerned with if the ka bellhousing would bolt up to the rb20 i know you can bolt up the gear box with a rb20 bellhousing, but i want to find any info using the ka housing.

Nope Ka bell wont work w/o a bell housing adapter.
by that time you could have bought a rb tranny.
I think some1 is selling one now take a look around

No prob gotta help out the fellow rb guys in SFL
 
Def Full RB Tranny.
RB Bell/KA trans needs a new Dshaft.
Puts the shifter up in your side and you need to do a custom shifter.
Plus 2 of the bolts don't fit....
Cheaper and easier for a RB20 Trans
 
also the the rb bellhousing on ka gearbox makes the complete trannt longer! meaning u will need a custom driveshaft!
