RB20 swap??

what fans/radiator are you putting in? if i were you i would upgrade from the stock ka one.

looking really good there are more and more rb's poping up. :bigthumbu

Im getting a hookup at murrays for an aluminum radiator. I'm in a bind between mishimoto 12' fans, or permacool...Wiring was a piece of cake its like 8 wires...
 
just 8 wires get the fuck out here. and the hole damn shit box will be functinal? like my cluster im talking

oh and whats the hook up, can you get me one too...hhehe i will buy one i need it, and i can make a trip of this, i can go buy it, then go probe your car.
 
I used the Ka lower harness( starter, trans harness, alternator, 3 fuse box plugs I think..). and spliced 5 wires coming from the ka chassis harness to the rb harness. I also had to extend the o2 sensor and maf harness...If I get a hookup on a radiator I'll sure let you in on it...LMK.
 
hell yeah let me know. i really think that im going to go look at your car too if i can get the rad, i also am getting fans too. well duh you know that. do you have a wiring digram or something that told you which color wires go to which ones. you know what i mean jelly bean.
 
What year is your 240sx? I used "skillzillas" wiring help. If you have a dual cam it's different...My car was originally a single cam, so the wiring is a little different if you have a dual cam.
 
the only main diffence between the sohc and dohc are the power steering locatons. and the dash harness. when sohc people swap dohc into their cars that is the only plug that has to be wierd.
 
My main concern is keeping power steering. I'm going to be manual steering till whenever I could buy some dohc lines and hook them up...Is it a mission the engine already in the car?
 
that is something that should be done when the engine is out of the car. i'm sure you can change it outside of the car but why give your self a headache?
 
Too late now...hehe. The shop I'm at has a lift. It may make it a little easier. I have no idea how much of a mission it is? i ALSO WANTO KEEP A/C, the harness they gave me had the wires cut coming from the compressor...Would I be able to find the pins on the ecu that deal with the compressor harness and wire it back up using spare wire from my ka?
Miami is hizzot...I can't stand no a/c...it's hot even with a/c...
