REALITY CHECK: ones physical health

so today i got a hugeeeeee reality check. lets start by letting yall know a lil bout me i weigh 185 im 5'9 i have a beer belly im ahsmatic and im a marijuana chain smoker im lazy as fuck i never walk or work out. as a matter of fact last i played a sport was like almost 2years ago so....

today i played my first 3 games of football with a couple friends at tamiami
to some it all up i was weezing coughing pouring water all over me every 5 seconds i couldnt even lift my arms let alone run a touchdown

I NEED TO GET IN SHAPE ive been eating a lil less and way healthier instead of mickey ds i get me sum chickien and vegetables a pollo tropical what i wanna know is what do u guys do to keep fit,in shape,healthy. shoot.
 
im fat and spend 50% of my life under a hot car, 25% in front of the computer and or tv, and the other 25% sleeping. i think i can ad "getting into shape in there". i just need to get up and do it.
 
50% Workin on cars
20% Going out
15% at the gym
10% on the computer
5% sleep....


Just start by changing your eating habits, and taking a break from the smoking. A change in your diet can really affect ones mood or the amount of energy they have. Replace fast foods with like at least subway or something, its a little more expensive, its not the best food, but its a lot better than processed beef from McDonald's or something... Also try to add some kind of mild exercise a couple times a week, like a jog or walk. If you want to like get physically fit..... Thats a lifestyle change...
 
I work at a gym. I win..no really..i do(www.planetfitness.com). But no seriously my physical health is so important to me. I MAKE sure i get at least 1 hour of my day to work out. Its addictive after a while. Most people usually quit within the first month because they dont see instant results. It all takes time people. Ive gotten my girlfriends brother who one month ago weighed 170 down to 160 and he is able to lift double what he was. im not swoll or jacked or big or anything of that sort but i know I am cut and I am in shape

Im 6'3" 185ish. Mid 2006 I was 6'1" and about 230lbs. I changed my eating habits, instead of eating 5 slices of pizza I only had 2 1\2 or something like that. Stopped eating McD's and BK, stopped drinking soda. Water water water. I bought a mountain bike last week, trying to gain back some endurance. If you know how to ride well you can hit up the trails at markham park, oleta and (->)quiet waters( <-havnt been there yet). I ride on the expert trails which are crazy fun, I dont know how much fun the novice trails would be but you can gradually work your way up.

I have a little routine I do at least once a day that Ive been doing for the past six months and I agree with nick, its addicting once you can definitely see the results. Its a work in progress, I just want to stay athletic.

too ad on theres trails down here in amehlia earhart park for those in the Hialeah area i used to go everyday after school as a kid tons of fun and huge drops. and to add on its free.

i dont know about you but i like it when they get all sweaty, make them wear a white t-shirt and you'll have your own wet t-shirt contest and lose weight at the same time. Working out rules
 
if you wanna get in shape and lose fat and gain more muscle to keep healthy cut sugar completely out. Fruits and stuff have fructose but its natural theyre good for you. No fast food absolutely what so ever and lots of vegetabels and proteing (i.e. steak, oatmeal, protein shakes etc) cardio is a must sprint dont run, you lose fat faster and builds more stamina and as for workout routine read on http://stronglifts.com/stronglifts-5x5-beginner-strength-training-program/. Mix this in with punching bag training and you should be good.Hope this helps
