really big engine problem

so a while back while i was driving..my car just shut off. i was stepping on the gas and nothing was happening. then it went away for a while. then just the other day it did it again, only now the car wont even start. it cranks. but no go. i put new oil. tried jumping it. nothing. what could the problem be?
 
Your going to have to explain more than that. And new oil isnt going to fix anything and if its cranking you dont need a jump.
 
in my experience its almost always fuel related with the ka. fuel pump, fuel pump fuse, etc.. yours sounds more like the pump took a dump. have you checked for fuel pressure?
 
It's obvious this guy doesnt know what hes doing. Bro, take it to a mechanic. Or PM me and I'll tell you how to do that stuff.
