rebuild talk.....

ok i threw a rod and destroyed my clutch/throw out bearing so im going to be rebuilding my ka24de.. iv heard allot about using 1989 sohc pistons for a massive 11-6 to`1 comp ratio and i already have jwt cams and jwt ecu ect ect so i was wondering if any one has done this and there thoughts bout it

well tyhe throw out bearing got loud as shit and i had to make it home so i bABied it till the motor locked and wouldnt crank so i plan on replacing all the manin and rob bearing have the block honed and crank resurfaced but i want to do the 89 sohc piston for mad comp ratio

im running dohc ka with single cam pistons, arp head studs, cometic head gasket, port and polished head, port and polished intake mani with removed butterflys, dual exhuast cams, shorty intake, no cat, no emmsions, 2.5" exhuast with a flowmaster 40.

The shit rides out for a na ka but your gonna run into some issues. getting the timing right for the comression ratio and the flat top pistons so you dont bend valves. I finally got mine timed right and im very happy with the set up. If it lasts long enough i might do a few more mods to it ignition and fuel wise. but ive never seen this setup last very long

thats wat im worrin bout i want more ponys but i dnt wanna walk home either and if u find ur way to daytona hit me up and come help liol

Mods Plz Move To Tech It Will Get More Input
