replacing Clutch fork Pivot?

on the way to nopi on saturday evening as soon as i got off the PGA blvd exit from i95, i put it in neutral as i came up on the exit and 3/4 of the way through the exit turn i hit the clutch to put into 3rd gear, hear a clunk, the wheels chirp and i loose use of the clutch pedal. so i manage to get into the gas station rite off the exit. Jacked the car up and seen the release fork was twisted a bit, and the clutch slave piston was popping way out and angled. The clutch fork was a bit loose and we noticed the pivot broken, so had the car towed home (guy was pretty cool). I have the NISMO one coming in tomorrow.

Now has anyone attempted to remove one of these without taking the tranny off? I don't think it's possible just want to know if there were any tricks? I just replaced the clutch a month and a half ago and it hasn't been the first time, just not looking forward to all that work, if i had access to a lift thats a whole other story. :bigthumbu

i can take a photo once i get it off, should be doing it today after work, was busy yesterday. And how did u do it as well if u dont mind me asking? i gotta see if the clutch fork is still attached to the clip/Throw out bearing, then maybe i can attempt doing it without the tranny off.
