rev limiter on ka24de

do ka24des have rev limiters in them???
and at what rpm do they kick in does anybody know?

plz answer, cant find on google.

6800 unless ur riding on a auto ecu with a 5sp car, in that case i dont think theres a rev limiter

yea thats wat i rev out at, but theres no rev limiter in neutral

the auto ecu will have a rev limiter and as well as if the car is in neutral. obviously its going to be somewhere in the redline. correct me if i am wrong but i dont believe that there is any electronic fuel injected without a rev limiter.

well wen i rev mine in neutral it goes up to like 8k and from there im scared to push it further so idk

auto ecu on a 5 spd 240 has no rev limiter i know this cause i snapped the tach on my last 240 and motor went boom. It still has a speed cut but no rev limiter. stock rev limit should be around 6800

you should never rev a stock ka above 7 grand bad things tend to happen

if your motor blows hitting the rev limiter once then it was probably going to blow shortly anyways

QFT you should be able to hit the rev limitor with no damage if your motor is good thats why its there to prevent you from over reving and doing damage

auto ecu doesnt have a speed cut for dohc s13...

your ecu musta been messed up cuz mine had a limiter at 7200rpm and topped at 149mph drag limited

and I drifted bouncing off the limiter religously so I know for a fact a good auto ecu has a rev limiter

i dont wanna blow my motor trying.
so juan ka24de's do come stock with a rev limiter at 6800??

that's the point of a rev limiter, so u dont blow it. if you're asking this question you're obviously a noob so what does it matter what rpm it redlines at. it wont make your car faster if u raise it unless u have alot of things done to the car or have aftermarket cams.

and it might say more on your tach if the tach is broken or the needle moved a little bit from where it is normally.
