Rip Ls13.

No more LS13, Camaro and Rotary Brat, a Mikespeed saga.

So yesterday, the world's 1st LS1 powered S13 officially died, which also happened to be my 1st little racecar, which is kinda sad, and also apparently the reason there are more S-chassis in Florida rockin 2 cylinder banks, tryin to do 360's, then there are KA24de blocks that still exist in the sunshine state, which is awesome!

The car was pretty beat to hell, and just extremely ghetto after years of abuse, and cutting corners trying to get it ready last minute for (insert event that didn't matter anyway here)

there was really no turning back after this.

My super non-legal cage that has a tech sticker. Gonna try to give it to some friends for lemons after I fix it, along with a free hatch I picked up last night. Cut the cage out.

Tomorrow I'll be cleaning the shop some more, and working on mounts and stuff for this thing. The cool thing is with cutting up LS1 car, I kept the framerails/firewall/subframe and my blown to hell Ls1 block, along with some junk heads and a spare t56 I'll be able to make some mounts for it while leaving it outside which is kinda cool. I may get into this whole LS1 mount business deal since I now have a mockup engine and mockup car, so if you're thinking about it and want a bolt-in swap, lmk.

I'm really kinda sad, but at the same time I did spend 6 months looking at 240's all over Texas before I bought that one, and it is in awesome shape minus the faded paint, and with some other parts I've been accruing over the last 2 years I'll end up with one super nice street car that will be totally streetable and trackable, and I am really excited about that. The only thing I haven't figured out is when/where I'm going to turn maroon car into blue car, but I've got some time to figure that out.

400rwhp with A/C will just be cool. But though some you Florida friends would be interested in seeing this.

Can't wait to see the new build! GL btw I won't let me join your games on Forza.

Yeah, your videos @ Desoto and OSW definitely inspired me to do the LS1 swap. I'm still in the process of building my engine and prepping my chassis, but it'll be done this year :)

haha, apparently half of florida has become victim to the ls1 craze.

btw if any yall need an engine built, the place building my engines now does has customers in the UAE, australia, and all over the world, looking forward to having a built motor and oiling system that will be no-lift-challenge proof.

Sometime within a year or five this guy will be done, but theres still a bunch of baller stuff I wanna do I definately don't need to do, that will keep it from getting done until I realize I'm really overcomplicating this build and just get it done. This is full blown hopefully sub 2k curb wieght 500+rwhp drift car.

Well, it's always sad to see a car get cut into pieces.

The car served it purpose though.

I bet the bandit sits the same way now.

Last, I saw of the bandit was in the good ole state of nebraska.

You will never have a lsx s13 again!!!!!!!!

I hope that motivates you.

So got a little cleaning/work done at shop today, 1st time I've been up there all week.

That Long John Silver commercial came on when I got there.

GIMME THAT FILETOFISH GIMME THAT FISSHSHHH (woo)

It is now stuck in my head.

Finally got the shop cleaned where former Ls1 car lived/died.

Also got some stuff in the mail couple days ago, got an accusump and some weatherpack connectors.

And got the car in after pushing it outside to turn it around.

Then I had to leave and go do some stuff on campus

Then I came back for about 3 hours and got started on a lot of stuff

This is what it looked like when I left

Got the wilwood clutch master in, removed the front suspension stuff that is getting replaced, cleaned a lot of crap, hung the motor about where I think I want it, took a bunch of measurements, and took some measurements of the shop so I can buy some lumber and build a second floor. Got a lot done, thanks to my buddy Matt too for helping out, and the Snap-on guy for selling me my awesome cordless impacts that let me tear apart cars in like 5 minutes.
