Rolling / Pulling front fenders

I'm going to be running a pretty wide tire up front, need some advice from you guys. Has anyone rolled / pulled their front fenders? Did you use a roller or a baseball bat? I vaguely remember someone talking about taking the fender off, heating it up and flattening the lip down.

Front is going to be 17 x 9 +35 with a 245 40 17. Rear is going to be 17 x 10 +12 with 275 40 17.

This is with a 3mm spacer, I need a 5mm spacer - the strut still just barely rubs the rim.

If you can't offer decent help, or don't have anything positive to add to this thread, GTFO.

I've locked up my 215s with the z brakes. The setup on this car is going to be the Evo Brembos, hawk pads, power slot rotors. These were on the rear of the car before, since I'm getting wider rear rims and these fit up front, they're going to go up front. To keep the cost of the build down for now, I'll be running these tires. I may go with a little skinnier tire when these wear out.

i use a bat or the metal handle from a floorjack best way to do it is have someone put the pipe in the fender on the tire and have someone push the car back and forth while rolling the pipe through the fender. We did mine at a event with it and it worked great

Cool. Thanks for the responses guys. I'm gonna borrow a buddies fender roller to do the rears, wanted to do the fronts at the same time.

when you do the fronts..... put your fucking bumper back on... i did mine with out my front bumper on and i am now having some issues getting my bumper back on to the fender

I planned on that, the bumper on the gray car will be swapped over soon.

Get Slidewayz, I'll post pics up. I'm gonna order the rims soon and pick up the tires probably tomorrow.
