my guess is maf....there is a air fuel mixture screw somewhere in the back of the intake
my maf trips real time monitor at work but doesnt throw a code so i know my maf is faulty but my car does run real rich...plus my car when warm idles at either 1400 or about 1k on cold days (running rich)
change your CHTS (Cylinder head temp sensor) and see if it brings down the idle.
my S12 use to run LEAN as fuck on cold warm and spit and studder until i changed it then it idled perfectly.
