What's up guys? As you know I drive an SW20 but I picked up an S13 Coupe and the starter's bad... I beat on the starter while a friend cranks it and VROOM it's up and running, but that's just far too ghetto for my taste and I picked up a new starter to put in.
Here's the deal... I can't get the starter off for the life of me. What's the trick here? I can't even reach the nuts to loosen it up, one right by the manifold and one beneath a bunch of hoses and what looks like oil lines and stuff. Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated, I'd hate to have to pay some douchebag $130 to change my starter when one of you 240 Gurus can just tell me what to do!
