ok i've spent the 2-3 hrs googling and searching nico and fresshalloy for a free downloadable factory service manual and i cant find it...anyone have have one or know where i can download one?

can the valve seals be changed without removing the head?...i really dont wanna remove the head to do it...if so how do i go by doing it?

yeah but u would either need to keep the cylinder filled with air which would require and adapter , compressor, regulator blah blah blah, or the "rope trick" which uses rope to keep the valves shut by feeding the rope in the cylinder and iirc moving the crank positioning the piston higher and holding the valves shut. if not theylle fall in when u remove the keeper and ull have to yank the head, search on it.

sorry for the lack of punctuation, but u should be able to get the idea

well according to the manaul from bagpuss 91-94 manual all i have to do is setthe bottom end to tdc and it'll prevent the valve from falling...interesting

^^ You don't just set the motor at tdc. You set each cylinder at tdc when you replace each valve stem seal. You will have to turn the motor each time you move on to the next seal.

yeah thats what i meant to write...but thats all i need to do :confused:?...i dont need to do the rope in the cylinder trick do i :ugh:?...my first time doing it thats why im asking so make questions.
