s14 brake lights

im out of town right now and i have my car with a noticed my brake lights are stuck on with lights on or off even with the key out the ign
and its really hard to google it on my phone
anybody know what causes this so i can fix it before somebody rearends me or i get a ticket

its probably the the rubber stopper on the brake pedal. check it out is like 12 cent

u can just tape a penny for now so ur battery dont die until tomorrow

oh its no big deal my batteries in the back and i have quick releases on the terminals so nothing going to die and i got the work truck so it not a big deal

a quick test would be for you to put your finger in the middle between the sensor and the pedal and and friend could tell you if the lights are going off or not. if they do go to your nissan dealer and buy the pedal rubber stoppers (i think they are called) they break down in nissan often.(at least the 2 nissan i have lol)

yup theres a little rubber that pushes the brake switch to turn the lights off and that broke get used to it happens alot

yeah you guys are right i got in the car today and it was on the floor broken
so for right now i used a rubber tab for glass it worked perfect

no prob man.. just pass by any nissan dealer and buy like 4 they are very very cheap.. and all nissans use the same plug (regarding of year lol)
