Ok I hear people are using S14 Front Lower Control Arms on S13s? Any insight?

it gives you like .5-1 degree difference in camber.. nothing really, jdm hype ftw!!!

Where it adds the camber is what's so nice about this "swap" and it increases track width a few mm each side (forget how much) which gives greater inner fender/sus clearance. You can also get the battle version weld in heim joints for your stock LCA's which will allow you to go quite a bit longer while adding tons of camber. S14 LCA's are totally worth it if you can get them cheap. If not, get the battle version weld in peices.

s14 flca's are 10mm wider on each side then s13..... increase in track width. Moving the wheel 10mm futher out is going to give the wheel more leverage on the spring when the suspension compresses, so the front is going to seem slightly softer. Nothing to make a huge difference.

It actually wont provide more leverage on the spring because you are moving the whole spindle outward. If you only added a 10mm wheel spacer, then you would be correct Rick.

Now I'm not sure about swaybar mounting, but if the pickup on the control arms is in the same spot, then the swaybar would be less effective, but wider track raises the roll center a bit so it's ok. (roll center and not same thing as center of gravity)

If S14 swaybar pickup moves outward, then youre prolly gonna need an S14 swaybar to go along with this, or the stock link will sit at an angle.

I didn't think about that. U putting an s-13 on a lift soon? I can bring by my LCA's and we can check.

Not unless you go to Ohio with me. I need crew anyway damnit!! And it's a waste to trailer only one car that far. You have one day to register!!!! DO IT :)

Dude, you know there's something borked with my tranny.

You can pick my car up in pittsburgh. You can drift it and bring it down to orlando so I don't have to drive it down here. :D

Oh yeah its stock.

oops, what sean says is true.

I dont know if the pickup point for the sway bar is the same. Although there are different part numbers for aftermarket sway bars.
