S14 w/ABS and an LSD

Ive been reading on a few forums and if you have a S14 with abs that doesnt have a LSD you need to get a J30 lsd with abs sensors or get a jdm or canadian S14/240 with abs and an lsd. Can anyone confirm this or correct me?
 
the abs driveshaft is shorter so if you get a non abs diff you wont be able to use the driveshaft in your car.
 
as per your min your car should have vlsd
