is the steering normaly super soft? like its kinda scary soft at high speeds

It is supposed to tighten up at higher speeds. If your speedo doesn't work then it would think you're at a stop. So your steering will feel loose. The best thing to do is get daizen steering rack bushings. It's pretty cheap and takes like 10-15 minutes to change.
