This thread is being made for me to give a very general apology for anyone any misunderstanding or confusion that i may have caused in regards to the bbq which has just passed. many people were under the impression that i may have profited and or been in it this to deceive people. my intentions with this meet were only good, to bring people together, to have a good time with people that all share the same general interest. i do my best to be a very honest, and fair person. for those who think that i "stole" money or made a buck i am here to inform you that went to JDM of MIAMI and sat down with moe today. i came to him with all the proof and numbers to show all of the expenses for the event and where money was put and where money was given. i did my best to handle of the funds with the upmost of business regard. all numbers and expenses were shown to moe and sqaured away. once again for those who saw me put money into my pockets, that was money that i had recouperated from my own personal funds, money that was taken out of my pockets for the event of which i still came up short. once again i apologize for any confusion, misunderstanding or drama that i may have caused and i am here to clear my name. i am no theif, crook or shady person as i was made out to be. Moe can vouch for me as can others. as for the posts in the previous thread i was just defending myself because i will not be publicly disrespected and or accused of anything if i am not guilty. so why dident i get all he money put back in my pocket for the sides i helped with i got shorted and you got your right just like you said... and honestly i dont care i just want to put you out there and on the line for the animals to pick at becouse honestly i have no respect left for you and dont want to contact or talk with you i am just a bitter person :bigthumbu

well i was with him the whole time
i went with him/steph to walmart and everything he bought came out of his wallet
and we bought a shitload of stuff
i saw the receipts
he was really trying
 
ok let me state my point now.. after seeing everything, reading everything, hearing suans side, and everyone elses,
I like emil alot, and we clicked great, Nothing will change that. Alright

But this all right here doesnt make sence to me.
1st of.. all the money....

According to the list I printed out, of whos going, and who paid his paypal.. It was atleast half the list.. so your paypal had to have something close to a 100 or more. That became locked?
Then JDM and Tertech.. 100 each.
Not including when I got there, before I collected money, you wanted me to hand it straight to you.. so I did.. so Im sure you had more then 50/100 in your pocket cause some people paid more then just 5 bucks, like rodd and ellie.
Then me sitting there handing the money there was about 200 bucks in there, and you only checked on me to count it, when we were working our butts off, to help you. I dont remember hearing thankyou to me personally for doing that all day.

I know you went and spent money out of your pocket.. WE ALL DID.
Myculture, Pablo/Rea, Night Monkeys... so on an so on, People brought ice.

But you claim you used your WHOLE paycheck? You couldnt pay your phone? Then how could you go spend money at Mcdonalds, Muvico, and TGIF, get supension all of a sudden.

And Im sorry but I have to call you out on this one.. But when raffi wanted money back for the Pravillion, You got pissed.. saying "so basically he wants to be here for free"
whenever you said the first day we met up, That you had no problem using some of your money, and not getting it back, if its a great turn out.. and it was.. yet now what? You want to be there for free too? Not fair.

Adgd mag, was not thanked by you, we asked e30 to thank them on the mic. I was not thanked by you, and nor was suaknee, for running his ass around all day, cleaning up for things you didnt do.
We should have even got paid for our time, thanks to suan he made sure I even ate!
So basically with all that.. about 600 bucks in total, I could be a lil off, we all should have gotten our money back.. for everything we spent, including you.

Thats what I have to say, Its just really odd how most these points point you out to be doing wrong? Even in the middle of the day, The picture was rushed, some people werent in it, and suan was at the store, and even the ridealong, you guys were gone before I knew it,
and I remember you saying to me was "I dont wanna be here that long"
Then you left, and we cleaned? We just left the food, not knowing if you were coming back?

Thats it I guess. Sorry I had to say something, cause alot kinda hit me after. :rolleyes:

Im not trying to have anyone mad at me over this, Im glad emil took the idea, and ran with it, But just some things dont make sence.

I was not able to go but i've heard different things from members and all i gotta say is next time let ONE person be the Treasurer. That way it would be more organized, but i heard everyone had a good time :bigthumbu
 
it's my fault he left for like an hour
i asked him to take me back to his house so i could grab my bag of clothes and bring it back to the bbq
he said sure and took me no problem
and when we got back there weren't many people there
 
This is a lesson for all of us and we need to learn from our mistakes. No need to judge others and call each other names. This issue could have been resolved behind close doors without making it public. Emil came to my warehouse and we squared eveything out. I asked him to show me receipts and asked to tell me how much he rased, who he paid and what he owed. Pretty much it all balanced out.

Once again we need to learn from this experience and move on.

I will talk to Bladder about opening a bank account for SFLdrifters and asign a Treasure to handle all the donations and event money that is used for future events.

i dont believe emil would have took profit, esp. while others were still short... but i could be wrong.

perhaps everyone involved should have a private meeting, and square things away.
