someone needs to look into metro zoo. They used to have HUGE autocrosses there, but dont do it anymore. Rob needs to contact Equipe Rapid and gulfcoast autocross clubs. They have alot of places on hand. Lets see if we can partner up or something.

The asphalt there is horrible and it eats the tires from the people who autocross. Now imagine who drifts. I'd rather somewhere else.

Good point. I personally like the shiny blacktop asphalt, easy to slide on, and easier on the tires, but little smoke. lol. New asphalt is great. Good slides, even on open diff. Asphalt is a pretty big issue too.

I have some native american in me lol its just masked by all that polish and irish

Yeah what about the Pompano Beach race track where they have the broward county fair... That's a huge lot! if they were contacted in the right way we might be able to set something up.

-I've actually auto-x'd there years ago. The parking lot is huge but there are two problems. One is the pavement is in bad shape and would rip tires to shreds and two is I think a car dealership is now renting the parking lot and keeping all there extra inventory there. On the plus side if anyone needs to steal a new Camry now you know where to find one :p

I'm dying to drift in a safe and legal (or at least semi-legal) environment. There is no substitute for practice and it is a great feeling when you notice your skills improving. I know a perfect spot track wise but it is in a very bad location. Anyone who takes Commercial Blvd West to the Sawgrass and heads south will know exactly what I mean. At the intersection of Sawgrass and Commercial is a huge lot with fresh asphalt but it is way to open to passerby's to be safe.

It is very tempting though ;)
