any ideas on track layout? maybe do something crazy and give the drivers a right hand turn or something that would be tricky

Awesome!! thanks ROB!!!

anyone wanna let a brotha drive there car?

THIS IS GOING TO BE FUCCIN RAD!! Any new ideas on the track layout or is it going to be the same as always? Either way ill be there

I'm definitely going to try and make this event. I think my car will be ready by then. Hope to see you all out there!

I will be there spectating as Unless im driving seans car (I doubt it) I dont know what im gonna drive that I would be used to enough to do decently in. Plus I dont want to take away any practice time (since it will not be as much) from someone else in their car.

Err.. very disappointed in seeing that rule about needing a cage to tandem. can you please give more details of all the rules for the competition please? What is judging going to based on? How will you guys determine qualifying and winners without tandem? If they spin during qualifying are they disqualified? I'm just trying to get all the info before signing up so I don't waste my time and yours. Thanks

YES cage is mandatory for this event to tandem in final qualifying of Advanced run groups.

WHY???? For your safety. Bottom Line.

Plus advanced is open to anyone and everyon. Which means if Rob and Matt and hachi bill and Harry want to enter the event. They are more then welcome to. If they didn't have cages and at their speeds they crashed what do you think the outcome might be?? Not good I would imagine and I don't want to have to even imagine so roll cage required for advanced tandem runs.

Oh and you don't want me to even get into the rules of the track for insurances purposes.
Cause then everyone on the track will have to be in full nomex. All seats must be within spec date, all harnesses in date, all welds of cage are solid, gas tank removed and converted to a fuel cell.

You kids(sarcasm) act like you've never been to a professional motorsport event. If you want drifting to become more professional in florida you need to start treating it as such. You think moroso or Daytona would let you go out there and do tandem runs at 90mph???

Course layout and judging criteria will be announced within 2 weeks.

course will not be the same as the ter-tech event.

Judges will be looking at

Angle
Speed
Early Entry
Consistency
smoothness
