I was street drifting last night and hopped a curb and now i have like 5 degrees of toe out on my front right wheel, so i spent all day at the junk yard pullin a front lower arm cuz when i lookd at it thats what i thot was wrong, so 18 bux later i got home and when i went to go replace it i found out there was nothing wrong with mine and they looked the same so i didnt replace it, and my tie rod and tension rods dont look broke and i have no idea what will give me so much toe out so im asking u guys if u would kno whats wrong and what to replace cuz **** if i do! and im stuck here scratchin my head and feeling like a asshead for drifting, and o yea my left rear tire is flat so i cant go n e where....help needed!!!! ASAP!

How hard did you hit it? Check your TC Rod and TC Rod brackets, Control Arms, and Shock.. not just take a glance at them, investigate them *****es.. make sure that no bolts or parts bent ANYWHERE or stretched out of place. If you can, get the wheel off and some pictures from every angle for more in depth help. Let me know what you need, I got pretty much everything except TC Rod Brackets cuz mine broke when I crashed

I'll be honest with you its hard fore us to help you without seen the car, if you need to borrow a rim and tire for a little bit, I'll go drop it off and I'll also take a look at your car. I might have a part you need

u guys r my heroes, well i fixed my flat, it was just a nail so i can drive it but i still have toe out in the front so something is still bent, i will get pics soon so u guys can help me out, but alchemist, im ganna try to come by ur house 2mrw for the rims and we can both look at it if its ok with u, thanks guys

ok well i have even worse news, i was drivin it to test it out to see if i heard n e wierd noises or if anything would happen and i was makin a turn and i hurd, POP! from my right front end and i was like wtf?! so i was pulling into a gas station and i hurd an even bigger pop and then my wheel fell off my hub and **** b/c all four studs split in half, i guess when i hit that curb i snapped some of em and when i made that turn i guess the final one snapped in half and my whole car was resting on my tire and the tire was resting on the fender and now my fender is bent beyond belief b/c of that, but n e ways so i had to jack my car up and remove the wheel and thats when i found all four of my studs with the lugs still attached on the ground and i found out y i had toe out, it was b/c my tie rod bushing got slammed up and its like 1/4 inch thick compressed when its sopposed to be like 5 times that size, well n e ways i had to call a tow truck and they towed it to a shop where my car is right now and i have to go back in the morning to get a new hub and im going to replace the tie rod bushing now, fun huh? and i know this is ganna cost me an *** load! all that ****in money to go back to the way it was a week ago as if i hadnt took that drift in the 1st place....god!

Damn dude that sucks. The life of a drifter you know. . . break, fix, drift its all a cycle. Wish I would've saw this thread earlier and try to help you out. I'm near Parkland like 10mins away. I hope everything gets fixed properly.

I'll make you a deal, if you pull it off my car you can have it if you can't find one or afford one.. just bring me the old one so I can somewhat hold my car up so it doesn't scratch my driveway.... or somethign to hold it up lol

Here's an easy way to figure it out. Have an alignment done in your car. If the car cant hold the alignment, then somethings ****ed up.

Doubtful it'll be your case, but if you say they *look* untouched, then there's no reason why the car shouldnt hold the alignment.

yea thanks guys, the thing that screwed me up was that the actual tie rod wasnt bent, the bushing was completely destroyed and i didnt notiice it at the time

indeed, i dunno if i should replace em with the stock ones for upgrade and spend more money b/c what if this happens again and i bend the aftermarket tie rod

Thats up to you but usually aftermarket ones would be stronger, just buy from a good company of course. You don't want to buy something you don't know when it comes to suspension. Its a risk because of the $ evolved but risk and drifting go closely together.

but everything is fixed now, new hub...new inner and outer tie rods on both sides and $384.71 later it is all fixed!! holleratchoboy, i jus need a killer alignment!

TOE IS ALL ABOUT TIE RODS. Did you get it aligned? If you did post the number from the print out. If not you need to. And when you do check the Cross SAI(Steering Angle Inclination)sp? That will tell you if there is more messed up then just the Tie Rods.

BTW How didnt you notice that was bent?

Damn dude, that sucks. I hope you get it all worked out. Dan's good with stuff like that, talk to him and I'm sure you two can figure out a way to get it back in working order.
