So what's the big deal with the 5 lugs?

Well when you go to purchase wheels you will see.

5x114.3 is alot more common to find nice wheels then 4x114.3

5 lugs are stronger and have better, broader options when finding rim choices as stated before.
Also if you covert your 4 lug to 300zx 5 lug, you get a bigger, better brake package. Im not sure if the s14 5 lug hubs have the same calipers as 4 lug or not, but they might be bigger as well.

don't forget taht for a very very pretty penny you can use the complete brake steup from an r33 or r32 (can't remember which) and that adds mad jdm tyte points.

but you can use thoughs brakes on a 4 lug setup, you just need wheels that'll clear and brake rotors will need to be drilled(via rick)
 
Well actually you only get better wheels in the 17-18" range, I think all the cool mesh wheels ive ever seen were 4 lug and not availible in 5 lug

If you want to stick with 15" or 16" wheels then 4 lug is better, but for 17-19" wheels 5 lug is better
 
but if your a starting drifter why worry about rims?
if your not into to drifting why ask these types of questions on a drift forum?
 
Mustang wheels fit Nissan 5lug and have great offset on a 240sx, 15, 16 17 and 18. Did I mention they are cheap as hell?
