Before the whole rumors start.... let me start by saying that the ricers were not at fault. This was my fault, but it was bound to have happened with anyone.... I just happened to be the guy who got caught doing it.
The heat came from some trucker chick who parked her semi right off the street that we drive in through to get to the triangle (47th Ave I believe). The whole truck was completely turned off and we didnt think much of it since we didnt see any lights.
After a couple of runs, we see someone walking from the semi and towards the middle of the road. We pull over and she starts going crazy. She claimed that she was there for a delivery and she was trying to sleep. She called us the whole reckless driving fanatics "bad boys" and all that crap. She had told us that if it was any other night we could have been doing that shit all night but since it was the night she decided to camp out there, that she had called the police.
The police did show up about 30 mins later and we were at the Citgo gas station.... since the lady used the words "organized street racing" to tell us what we were doing, we figured she said the same to the cops, because there was even a helicopter out there with a spot light flying around the triangle.
The cops showed up at the gas station but we all left without being even spoken to (although they were parked there for a while). I head my own way and wasnt followed. I hope everyone else got home without a problem as well.
That's the whole story.... so keep the rumors at a minimum. You decide if it's worth it to go back anytime soon now that cops see that spot as a potential place for organized street racing.
