What is this bullshit of hockey pucks not vibrating like metal ones?

The reason these solids and hockey pucks transfer vibration is, the bolt is 1 piece. If you want a solid mount that has NO vibration, get a poly set w/ offset bolts. The Hockey pucks are the same way, have them in a car that I drive ALL the time.

As for vibration with these, I ran the ones in the picture below for a year. ka-t that idled nasty w/ 248/248, and vibration was minimal to none. Only at idle, and that was even barely at all.

um i have ran both in the same car and hockey pucks dont vibrate any where close to as bad as solid mounts do.

You get use to the vibrations with the solid ones. Your cd player won't like it though. Mine skips and sometimes throws errors when I go from a stop because of the vibrations. I hardly use my cd player though. You'll also find out if anything is loose in your car. Just turn the music up louder and you'll be fine.

Exactly. I have some avid solid mounts and the vibrations suck. Jus turn the music up to get away from it. As for the reason for having solid mounts, def worth it. Feels much better when getting a lil loose.
