Spacer?

Ok well now the sunk in look of my rims is really getting to me but i cannot afford the rims I want. I want to get some 18 or 19 but im not sure which ones yet. My question is Temporarily(spell check) until I get some better offset wheel are spacers a good idea? Someone told me that that spacer is too big and the weight of the wheel is going to be too far out from the hub. I was looking into some bolt on 25mm spacers. My wheels are 17x 7.5 +42

They are perfectly fine to run as long as you don't buy some cheap, low-quality spacers. I used to run 25mm wide tread spacers on the rear of my Sil-Eighty and never had a problem after more than a year of violent 160KPH entries. Mine were from GTO but I don't know what you guys have available over there. Definitely don't go for any of those cheap spacers off of Ebay.

Can 10mm non/bolt-ons go on without having to change studs. To go on a s14 5lug.

I wouldnt risk it. You wont have much thread left to feed your lug nuts on.

hell no.. i belive that after 3mm it becomes dangerous. zak has said this before.

I asked this in some other thread but did not get a clear response for it. Are non/boltons safer than boltons or does it really not matter?

If you are using a bolt on spacer and you break a stock stud underneath, you'll never know it until you break the third one.

Switch to ARP studs, you'll never break them, and just add a hub-centric spacer.
ARP 2.5" and 3.5" late model camero I'm running the 2.5" for an extra 15mm so 3.5" is an extra 40mm!
