whats the difference between the s15 blk top sr and s13 blk top sr besides power and millage, witch one is better? i noticed the intake mani was different, iv been looking but just curious to see what u guys would say....
 
lol i did i looked and read wiki but i get a little A.D.D, and i can get a simple short answer from someone with some experience, i c y not throw it up here anyway...sry for wasting ur time lol
 
what are u gonna use it for? all are the same displacement. price is the major factor as the s15 sr is almost 1000 more and ur just paying for vct and a ball bearing turbo and less mileage. just buy an s13 sr get a t28 and up the boost and call it a day. that simple.
 
ahah id buy both if i had the money! but i love the lines of a s13, like sense i was little and didnt know what a turbo was! lmao
 
Listen to him ^ lol. yea the ball bearing is cool i mean but any t28 would do fine. try looking into rb25. u can possibly do the price for something similar to an s15sr and have room for more power.
 
yea i love the way it sounds to!!! like a angry old blk lady under the hood lol
i was just thinkin sr cuz its easier to find parts and a pretty reliable motor for DD....But so is the rb hard decision!
i also wont need a lot of power till later on and the sr is a more level hp to tq ratio.

while were at it is there a difference between the S13 black top (180sx motor) and the S14 black top?
 
you guys totaly over looked that s15 sr swaps come with a 6spd tranny that is a contributor to the price diff from the s13 sr.
