SR lagging at WOT...?

changed mafs today, not much of a difference at all. its boosting to 9psi, but not pulling like it should. and it just makes a funny sound at higher rev, like an ehhh rev. and my fuel pump is only getting 9v. that bad?

fans wired to fuel fuse location, and my fuel pump is wired to something that turns on with the ACC on my ignition. and the fan is def drawing to much to be ran from that fuel pump fuse spot.. and same with my fuel pump.. its only getting 9v...

Well that sounds like your problem, I would suggest wiring it up the correct way so you have proper voltage to the fuel pump and aren't drawing current to your fans

the fuel pump is wired directly to my ign harness, but im wiring it with a relay to the battery tomorrow. reason being, my factory fuel pump power wire was getting .01 volts when on. and i took the fuse out of the box, and stuck the power wire from the fan in the fuel pump fuse spot so the fan turns on, but i dont think its getting 12-14v either.. so thats tomorrows task.

So your using an ignition source for fuel pump power, and since your original fuel pump wire wasn't getting power you used that wire for a fan? Why would you use it for fans if it wasn't getting power to begin with? And a relay is used to switch on power from low amps to high amps, running the relay to battery power pretty much makes the relay useless

i was using a relay to turn the fan on. and today i hardwired the fuel pump to the battery, and it was still running the same, just pulls absolutley nothing like it used too.... and its now rattling my downpipe nuts loose..

and btw, there is 19 chain link pins between the dots on thte cam gears, but the cams look just like the fsm shows. and on my last head, i set them the same, and there was 20 links(and this thing ran horrible with 20 links, thats what the bogging bs was)....
