I know the sr20 is used alot (non turbo version). I want to know what differences there are between the sr20de and sr20det besides the turbo part (compression, head design, injectors, etc). Is the non turbo just as strong as the turbo?
thank you :)

I don't know much but I really really wish I could help you out!!! No but if your thinking about going N/A SR20 your waisting your money KA24 is alot beter...

THE DE is Higher compression. The piston are weaker. Smaller injector cc. NOT WORTH IT! The oil passages have to be drilled. It is a lot of wprk for nothing.

The DE has bigger valves and TB tho. That is the only good part.

Yes, dont get an SR20DE. It has no torque and is hard as hell to spin the tires. The compression ratio I believe is 11:1. Thats why im building a black top SR20DET.

+ 1 100%

drive an infinity G20, they have an sr20de, and they feel slow as hell to me.

sr20det is DEFINATLY the way to go if you are contemplating both!

The motor is completly different when compared to a RWD SR. CR, Head design and flow, VTC...
