Sr20DET engine question.

I have a question to ask y'all who'll able to answer. Let me informing you what status is my motor right now. The MAF is connected but without the adpater to the filter. The pipings are all attached with the clamps. Intercooler is installed,already on the car. Oh,yeah..also the several black tubes or hoses (I think it's a vaccum hose) are not connected but it have the tools bolt nuts tight into it. Downpipe is on but not the rest...of the exhaust system. Greddy Rs B.O.V.

Well,i started the car and let it running for good 5-7 min...It idle very smooth at 900. I rev gas and it went down at 550...the motor idles very crappy..and sudddenly, it running smooth. I decided to move her and I know I'm not suppose to drive...then out of no where it sounds really awful. Like the motherfucker crrap motor! Itself shut it off.

Is it the timing I have to adjust?
Do I have to install the full exhaust system.?
MAF? or is it the main common problem...Vaccum Lines?

I'd be very appericate for some people to help me out or NOT. LOL.. Cheers! :D

What do yo mean by the vac lines are not connected but have bolts in it?

It sounds like you did something wrong with the whole piping deal.

It could either be that your maf is not wired up right or you have a bad vac leak somewhere. make sure and double check all the pipes and redo your vac lines. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v470/touchdown6101/Car/Vaclines.bmp
Thats a link to a vac diagram for the sr you may not need some of them if you dont have a charcoal canister etc, but just find all of them and make sure they are connected. Good luck
