Whats up fellas,

So I swapped my sr about a month ago and since day one it idles high. It consistently stays at 1200RPM. I will start the car COLD, then it will idle at 1200. Then after a minute or so it drops to 800. Driving out of my driveway and making it out the the neighborhood and fuuuck, it goes back to 1200rpm. Any ideas?

So far I've checked:

Coolant temp sensor (replaced)

Vacuum leaks

Messed with IACV screw and it's all the way closed.

Any input would be great fellas. Thanks in advance.

You completely unscrewed the plastic screw?

edit: I read a write up. Ok any other suggestions?

edit #2: Just removed the screw and noticed that there is a lot of carbon build up on the screw.
