Ok well here is the deal. I went to a shop my friend knows. They said they bought an sr20det black top motorset with 140,000 km on it to install it in their personal car. Now they no longer want that motor and want to put and rb in it. They want to sell me the motorset for 2000 but it has no ac compressor or ps pump. Also the wiring harness looks like it was messed with, but not wired up for a drop in. It looks like they spliced into the wires going into the ecu plug. Also, the throttle body doesn't open, there is oil residue int he inlet of the turbo but not the outlet on the compressor side and the motor is sitting on the oil pan which i think is dented. In short I want to know if this motorset is worth buying or am I just asking for trouble with this motorset.

wow... 2000 for a motor with all those problems? Dont mean to bash.. The price is a bit steep for the mileage and condition its in... Either way post some pics and compression #'s someone may be interested...

Does it come with tranny?

x2 on the mileage, that's REALLY high
 
Too high on miles. You're looking for issues. I had my first blacktop clip come over with 180k's on it and I freaked. But put it in and beat on it. Rod knock was sure to follow. I'd be quite leary of it. Save your pennies and pay for a full swap, preferably clip, from a reputable importer.
