Ok I have been building this car for 9 months, the car ran fine when I started.. see post here.
http://www.sfldrifters.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29462
Here is where I am at, I trunk mounted the battery, Pos cable directly to the starter and the ground is to one of the back seat bolts. I removed the battery (from the front) 8 months ago looking now I cant find the negative terminal that was used.. not sure where it went.. So I'm not sure if I'm missing a ground some where..
#2 issue is while mounting my ECU 2 wires came undone (these wires were obviously swapped around by the PO doing the SR swap) they were held with crimp connectors right at the ECU plug.. anyhow one was a blue wire that came loose and one was a yellow wire.. the two wires on the plug that they came off one was blue with a stripe and one was yellow with a strip I figured simple yellow/yellow and blue/blue and reconnected them but couldn't be sure which one came from which one...
I turn the car on, the dash comes on and the dinging starts, but I hear no fuel pump, my NEO (AFC) does not fire up and obviously no starter..
Any hints here? should I swap the 2 wires I reconnected? should I be looking for a ground problem? where do I start here???
Anyone got a SR swap wiring diagram?
And of course I'm stressed for time on this project... Moving in a week..
Any help is greatly appreciated.
UPDATE (I hate auto merge)
Ok I got excited when I found a blown 10 Amp fuse in the drivers kick panel, replaced it and nothing new.. I double checked the rewired harness, and every ware is colored the same.. blue to blue, brown to brown, red to red, black to black, I don't see how my yellow to yellow and blue to blue could be wrong? is it possible in the harness of say 10 wires there are only 2 that are crossed, and those two just happened to be the two that pulled loose from bad crimps?
RECENT THINKING AND TROUBLE SHOOTING..
the dash lights and door dinger both work.. that tells me my battery is grounded ok.. what it seems like is the ECU isn't getting power at all.. or ground.. isn't the dash hooked to the ECU? One other thing I did which shouldn't effect anything, there is a red wire that comes out of the steering column area.. it had this 3 foot long but connected wire hooked to it and then grounded at the e Brake handle.. I shortened it and grounded it at a grounding point on the dash subframe.. this shouldn't make any difference to me though.. I'm just trying to think anything thats changed.
Update again....
Swapped the wires on the ECU (thought this could be worst case scenario) and nothing changed.. I theorize its early in the power chain, Fuel pump and Neo does not turn on..
