Sr20det

Getting a sr20det (s14 stock) with 5 speed tranmissions the stock s14 vsld differential, 300zx brakes and a Greddy intercooler (able to handle up to 500hp) Dropped into my 98 240sx.

My question is (besides the obvious Fluid, belts and hoses)
Should there anything be done to the engine before its put in Not after.

Example: I am getting the bigger intercooler because I dont want to pay for it twice. Once when the engine is installed and again when I upgrade. (wasted money)

Once it goes in i am not going to do anything to the engine for about a year.

Remember this is a daily driver. Not a drifter (maybe I will try one day)

since my car is automatic and I am changing it to manual I am putting in a new clutch (forgot to state that)

So water pump and head gasket and flywheel I will ask them if these are new.

Thanks

def. do clutch, flywheel, water pump, and possibly rear main seal...Oh and last but not least is the blinker fluid, soooo much easier when the engine is out of the car

its not going to stay stock would like a bigger turbo
I know this gona happen eventually so why put in an intercooler that cant handle it then rip it out ande put in a better one might as well go for the better one right off the bat.

one less thing I would have to do if I do any upgrades later.

Depending how things go it might not be a stock engine going in. I might do something with the engine idk
