So this is for my S14
I went into a curb pretty rough(btw i hate you curb
)...no body damage but i did break a wheel, curb the other and bend my drivers side tie rod..battle scars i guess.
So i got new wheels, tein tie rods(inners and outers both sides), new boots and started to drive my car but im hearing like a creaking noise coming from what i beleive is the steering rack. its when i turn low speed or sometimes under braking...even when i jack up my car...(with every pump of the jack you hear like a creek, creek ,creek)
my front sway bar bushings are shot, and i think my front lower control arm bushing is also gone( the one under the rotor in front of the tie rod). Im getting the sway bar bushings this week but that is more of like a popping sound under braking i beleive.
so what do yall think my steering rack needs to be rebuilt? the inner tie rods didnt want to come out of the rack and im afraid if the accident didnt mess it up then i did trying to yank them off with a huge wrench.
