stiff stock springs

i would like to know if any of you guys have a trick to make stock springs stiffer.? i'm ganna get new springs in like a month but is there a way that i could stiffen up my stock ones for mean while so i would stop eating the side of my tire. thnx

im sorry where are my manners. You asked a question I should try to answer it.

you could..........encase them in concrete, drill a hole in the middle for the shock and then bolt them all back up.

i think your retareded cuz at autoparts they sell spring compressors and spring stiffeners. how old are you? i think your on the wrong website buddy.
 
dude calm down hes probably older than u and probably has alot more experience with 240's than u do, not as much as me but probably more than u.
1st why the fuck whould u think about stiffening stock springs??????? but buy after market springs teins r cheap as shit and are a lil better over stock

not to rag on you man...but stiffening stock springs is like lowering the car by cutting them or torching them. It's not gonna work. Save up some $ and buy yourself something decent or at least 2nd hand.

Not everyone wants coilovers, and not everyone knows everything about cars. Why don't we stop ragging on the guy and give him real answers so maybe, just maybe he could grow into a knowledgeable drifter. My suggestion is go on wikipedea.org and do some basic car searches. Look up suspension and car components to learn the various types of suspensions. Then you would understand why these egg heads over here are laughing. If you have any more questions feel free to PM me. I will not laugh.

i never said they made them stiffer. i just said that there are other things than just encasing springs in concrete like you said.... and on the first post i did mention that i will be getting new springs. but my fenders are eating the side of my tires so therefore i thought posting this thread on sfldrifters thinking there would be much more ppl that had just maybe a lil trick to stop the body roll but i guess when one person says something stupid everyone else joins. if you dont really have anything to say that would help me than please don't start posting retarded shit on my thread. this question was a serious question. 245/17 tires aren't that cheap (unless used). if i offended anyone in any way by asking a question then i apologize. i just thought i could get someone with some experience give me a suggestion but all i got was someone with a dancing chicken avatar laugh at my thread. :confused:

aren't you the one that wanted to trade BiG MiKE your usdm s13 front end for his s15 front end. no to offend or anything but why would you even mention such a trade. that was trully something to laugh about.
 
What are you running 245's on? An s13? If that is the case then you are going to rub even worse when you lower the car, despite the fact the the new springs will be stiffer. You will need to either roll you fenders or run smaller tires. I would say do both. Unless your running 300+whp you dont need such a wide tire...
