Stuck at a tire shop, posting from my iPhone. The key won't go past lock, and the steering wheel is locked. Tumbler might be stuck but idk. (button that says "push"

Help, late 4 work

Got the wheel free by removing the cylinder, key still won't turn

ok on the left side of the ignition switch their is a little phillip screw. Remove that and that removes the switch. Then use a flat head to turn the switch over and that will start your car. You will have to remove the plastic that covers the steering column to see this. GL sir.

and if ur car ever gets stolen blame this guy!^^ since he knows how to do it so well! lol

jkjk just thought that was kind of funny.,...

thanks man

Did this after wiggling everything for a half hour.. These cars are too easy. In the market for new locks and alarm. :ugh:

in order to actually remove the whole setup, (where you stick your key in) you would need to drill out the tamper proof bolts (2 of them) and then put in a brand new ignition lock switch (runs for $130.00 shipped). Glad I could help.

haha so true I had to replace my ignition switch and when I saw how simple it was to replace I almost cried. I can hotwire(not really a hotwire, its easier than that) a 240sx with a fucking screw driver. sad.... :(

Damn, being stranded sucks.
